Solstice Pharmaceuticals has developed an innovative ultrasound contrast agent (UCA) using microfluidic technology to improve image quality, enabling deeper and more detailed scans. This UCA allows faster, more accurate diagnoses without the use of ionizing radiation or hazardous agents. It offers a cost-effective, patient-friendly solution for bedside diagnosis. Solstice is now focused on GMP production of sterile, disposable cartridges. With support from the High Tech Funds, the company operates a testing and pilot production site at Kennispark Twente, where it offers product demonstrations and training for healthcare professionals.
